wrong there is a representation for Tamils as there in an entire regiment called Madras Regiment which is 90% South Indian and he most of them are Tamils and Malayalis with 21 battalions. And I could also say that most of the South Indian military officers are probably Tamil.

But the reason why there maybe more Sikhs then Tamils in the Indian army is because the Indian army that protects India today isn’t truly the indian army it was an army created by the British and there SLAVE INDIANS to control India. Most Tamils fought against this as they didn’t like to be controlled by the British Veerapandiya kattaboman and other Tamils like them are great examples of this. But the Sikhs on the other hand for some reason fought FOR the BRITISH instead of for the independance. That’s why the British created almost 5 Sikh and Punjabi regiment when they created 1 madras regiment even though there are 10 times as much South Indians and 3 times as much Tamils as the punjabis.

but still the Tamils have pride because in Subhash Chandra boses freedom fighting Indian army (THE ONE TRUE INDIAN ARMY) MADURAI TAMILS were the greatest fighters and the highest amount of fighters.

So the reason why there are less Tamils in the Indian army isn’t because there less brave it’s because they didn’t want to fight for the British 60 years ago
