side of the square=28cm

area of the square= 784cm

radius of the circle = 1/2 * 28= 14cm

area of the circle = 3.14*196 = 616cm

area of two circle = 616*2=1232cm

area of the shape = area of the square + area of two circles -(area of two quarters)
