HOTS Bacteria have a simpler body plan

explanation.
When a new species is formed, it is not necessary that
the old species like bacteria will disappear from the
Earth. It will depend on the environment. Also, it is
not as, if the newly formed species are in any way
better than older ones. It is simply that the genetic
drift and natural selection processes have combined to
form a population having different body design which
cannot interbreed with the older population.
This is because, many of the older and simpler forms
of organisms still survive on the Earth, e.g. bacteria.
The
reason is that these can survive in most
in
unfavourable conditions like hot springs, deep-sea,
thermal vents and in ice in Antarctica. Therefore, we
cannot say that human beings are more evolved than
bacteria, just because they have complex body designs.
