Dear Diary,
Yesterday was a very eventful day. While playing badminton with my brother, I happened to spot a street dog limping across the street. The poor creature was in a terrible condition; it was bleeding profusely. It was such a pitiable sight that I simply could not ignore the animal’s suffering and continue with my game. So, we grabbed an old towel from home, scooped up the dog and took him to the vet. Luckily it had sustained superficial injuries. I was extremely relieved when the vet reassured us that the dog would be back to normal within a week, provided it was given the prescribed medication. I am now going to take care of the dog, help it recover and then plead to my parents to let me keep it as a pet!
