Assuming you drove at a continuous speed of 120 miles per hour for 90 minutes, this how it works out:

Speed- 120 miles per hour :: 120 miles per 60 minutes :: 2 miles per minute.

Distance covered = time travelled X speed

90minutes X 2 miles per minute= 180miles.

You would have travelled 180 miles if you had driven for 90 minutes at a constant speed of 120 miles per hour.
