Yesterday I woke up in the morning with smiling face but suddenly my mood changed and I got upset; it was my birthday and my parents were not at home. They left for their works in town leaving me a note wishing me a happier birthday and fifty rupees in an envelope.
I had no mood to go out or leave bed even. The clock stirred me aloud with 10 o'clock in the morning and I had to go to school. I somehow prepared myself with no breakfast. When I reached school, I didn't see my friends wishing me and they were absent totally.
After the school hour ended, I was exhausted of my pains bearing in my small chest. On my way back home, I could see a little boy begging for money to admit his mother, suffering from fever, in hospital. I didn't think twice before giving the envelope with 50 rupees in it.
Returning home in a lazy way wasn't bad at all as it was the whole day. I was happy that I did help that boy atleast with what I had. His mother might be alright now.
When I reached home, it was dark in the house which meant my parents didn't return from their works. So I just switched on the light and it filled me with surprises when I saw my kindergarten friends from my village. Together with my parents and best friends, they all wished me a happier birthday.
Putting all the events together, it wasn't hard to understand that my parents had brought the party together. We all celebrated the birthday in a befitting manner.
