Dear Diary,
What an incredible, eventful day today was ! Imagine my greatest you dream coming true. Today, before the whole school, in the lnvestiture Ceremony, I was declared the school captain! I was shaking with trepidation, my thoughts were I'm a jumble, I could hardly stand still when the principal pinned the badge on my shirt. The cheering of the assemble, the broad smiles on my friends faces were reminders that it was happening, it was true and not just a dream.
You can imagine the happiness of Mum and Dad. I have fulfilled their expectations. I have made not only mine but their dreams come true. I pray with all my heart that I do not belie the faith reposed in my and prove true to the task given to me. I have every intention of being a good captain. Pray for me.
