Yesterday was the hottest day in recent times in our city. The temperature in the city was measured as 52 degrees Celcius in the last eight years. Many sparrows were found died beneath trees. A number of animals were also seen as running from one place to another in search of chilled water.
Many of the poor people were found covering themselves with wet clothes to get protection from the loo. The rich people in the city distributed chilled water and Sattu among the poor section of society. Various youngsters provided food and water to the animals. However, it was also noted that few people died of dehydration.

Everybody knows that summers are on and the days are getting hotter day by day. Yesterday it was a hottest day of the season in our city and it was really difficult to face the warmth and heat of firing sun. This extreme heat of sun was causing heat exhaustion, which can be dangerous. Increased body temperature was causing heavy sweating, clammy skin and even my younger brother suffered dehydration yesterday and we had to take him to hospital due to the very hot environment. Yesterday everybody was in their houses and offices in front or coolers and ACs but these also failed yesterday in such a hot day.
Even animals were facing this heat and were seen uncomfortable in this hot weather. Some were under the shadows of trees and dogs were seen playing the water. Some of the animals I saw in the Goshalas were crying loudly with the extreme heat. I took around 10-12 glass of cold water yesterday and you can understand that to what extent the heat was on yesterday.
