Dear diary,
I can't believe what happened yesterday!! Let me explain you briefly,
Yesterday my maid came with her two sweet kids to my home. She greeted me 'Good morning' and wished her the same. After that, I noticed Her strange behaviour to her son and daughter. I really felt bad, when she told her son to sit down and study but asked her daughter to give her a help in household work. I took it lightly and made myself thought that, Auntie (maid) is old & week though and needs someone to help her. I said to myself 'It is all right'.
And went upstairs to continue my study.After an hour or two, I felt hungry and stepped to down stairs. I saw That girl is still working and helping her mother (maid), I went to her and dared to ask - "Don't you wanna go for study as like your brother." She continued " I've never been to school and dreamed to be as educated like my brother. But Whenever I tried to Express my dream to Mumma, she always scold me."
I found myself helpless. I went to my maid and asked " Auntie, Why do you discriminate between your son and daughter? Please, Let her be as she want. "
Maid replied " Dear, You are too young to understand my financial problems. I don't have much money to feed my family, even I am working day and night just to fulfill the charges of the school."
Hearing these, I gave my old books to her and asked to make a habit of studying. I was really touched by seeing these conditions.
