Hey !

(x/2+3y/4)*(x/2+3y/4)=(x/2+3y/4)^2

(a+b)^2= a^2+b^2+2ab

(x/2+3y/4)^2= (x/2)^2+(3y/4)^2+2*x/2*3y/4

                   = x^2/4+9y^2/16+3xy/4

HEY MATE HERE IS YOUR ANSWER
_______________________

( \frac{x}{2} + \frac{3y}{4} ) \times ( \frac{x}{2} + \frac{3y}{4} )

Using identity

 = > (a + b {)}^{2} = {a}^{2} + {b}^{2} + 2ab

 = > { \frac{x}{2} }^{2} + { \frac{3y}{4} }^{2} + 2( \frac{x}{2} )( \frac{3y}{4} )

 = > { \frac{x}{4} }^{2} + \frac{9y}{16} + \frac{6xy}{8}
