Good morning respected teachers, Principal Ma'am, and my dear friends, today I, Rohit stands before you to speak on the topic 'importance of yoga.'
In our daily lives yoga is very important. We often ignore doing yoga daily because we are unaware of its benefits. We should not forget that we have evolved from our ancestors who traveled long distances and moved to places in search of shelter and food. Hence, they have been always active in every aspect of their lives. As the cars are designed to move actively similarly we are designed in order to move actively in order to be healthy. One may develop serious health issues if remain inactive for a longer time. Enumerating various benefits of yoga in order to help one know the advantages.
First and foremost benefit of yoga is that it increases our energy levels. Yoga increases our stamina and strength. Also, it enables the cardiovascular system to receive the oxygen. Muscles strength is improved through exercise. Doing yoga on daily basis it prevents muscles and joint pain. Also, it helps in avoiding any kind of injury and makes the ligaments flexible.
Further yoga helps in improving the functioning of the brain. As the flow of oxygen increases the blood flow also increases in the brain. This helps in boosting the level of concentration and controls the learning and memory.
