Answer:

Yogesh asked my brother when will he return his pencil box.

Explanation:

✰ DIRECT AND INDIRECT SPEECH ;;

When we state something said by another person in his/her actual words, we use direct speech and when we report something said by another person in our own words, we use indirect speech.

✰ RULES TO FOLLOW ;;

While changing a direct narration into an indirect narration some rules have to be followed. Let's see them!!

CHANGE OF TENSE ::

1. If the reporting verb is in the present or future tense, the tense of the reported speech does not change; as —

  • I say, "I have lost my pen." (direct)

       I say that I have lost my pen. (indirect)

  • He will say, "She loves him." (direct)

       He will say that she loves him. (indirect)

2. If the reporting verb is in the past tense, the tense of the reported speech changes as under::

✦ A present tense changes into the past tense of the same type.

✦ Past indefinite tense changes into a past perfect tense and past continuous changes into past perfect continuous tense. (confusing right?  ㅋㅋㅋㅋ)

✦ In all types of future tense, 'shall' and 'will' are changed into 'would'.

Im not a pro in making ppl understand xD Anygays hope you understand! <3
