Hello!
Here's your answer mate
Inertia is a physical force that keeps things where they are or keeps them moving in the direction they are travelling For example A ball rolling down a hill will continue to roll unless friction or other forces stop it
There are 2 types of inertia
1. Inertia of translation
2. Inertia of rotation
Hope it helps you...

  • Inertia

→ It is the natural tendency of an object to remain at rest or in motion

at a constant speed along a straight line . It is the tendency of an

object to resist any attempt to change its velocity.

  • It is of 3 types:
  1. Inertia of rest.
  2. Inertia of motion.
  3. Inertia of direction.
