Evolution has resulted in the generating new varieties of species. During the process of speciation new species are formed from the already existing species . This idea does not mean that the old species are eliminated from the Earth . The selection is purely based on environmental pressure..

I am Agaisnt this statement.
Evolution should not be equated with progress. In fact, there is no real 'progress' in the idea of evolution.

Evolution is simple , genuin nd general of diversity.

Hence , evolution in the most general of terms could be understood as the process of speciation. It maybe defined as the And it is common belief that natural selection is the only phenomenon that drives speciation.

Are they not helpful for us? Aren't they allowed to evolve. We need to question ourselves .
