boiling point of tap water is 100degree celcius

boiling point of distilled water is 212F

the reason for this is what is called boiling point elevation .therefore normal tap should boil at a higher temperature than distilled water.

Answer:

Explanation:

(1)Both distilled and tap water has 100 degree Celsius as boiling point.

100 degree Celsius= 212 Fahrenheit

(2)⭐Usually the distilled or bottled water would boil faster than the tap water. The reason for this is what is called boiling point elevation. ... Therefore, normal tap water should boil at a higher temperature than distilled water.

⭐Distilled water is created through the process of distillation.

✨Basically, in the process of distillation, the pure H2O is boiled out of its contaminants. ...

✨Those types of contaminants have very high melting points and even higher boiling points (way higher than the boiling point of water at 212 degrees F).
