Today I was elected leader of the class and I cannot even begin to believe it. I've struggled so much for the role and I've been wanting it since I can remember! Just the thought alone has kept me smiling all day, not even having to clean up after the cat can make me moody! I'm ecstatic and I've been telling my friends all day! I even wrote Grandma a letter. I'm still shocked that my dream has been made real, it's such an odd feeling and its was so unexpected. Once the shock wears off I'm so ready to rock this role that I've wanted all year.
