You and your dad are moving the couch from one side to another. Your dad pushes with a force of 35 N to the right and you push with a force of 25 N right. What is the net force on the couch?​

Calculation:

Since both dad and son are pushing the couch in the same direction, their force vectors will be simply added to give the resultant value of force.

 \sf \: F_{net} = F_{dad} + F_{son}

 \sf \implies \: F_{net} = 35 + 25

 \sf \implies \: F_{net} = 60 \: N

So, net force on couch is 60 Newton's towards the right side
