You are a boy of the new generation and, owing to the generation gap, your grandfather is different from other people in various aspects. Make a diary entry expressing your feelings and state how your grandfather is different.

The generation indeed matters. there is a quite age difference between me and my grand dad, and so are the issues.

> All individuals in my granddad's age were uneducated.

> The second critical complexity between my age and my granddad's age is marriage.

>  My granddad's life was basic and troublesome.

Dear Diary,

Today I went through very heartbreaking revelations.

I was shocked at how far we have come from the old times and how the generation gap is affecting my relationship with my grandfather.

You know I love my grandfather a lot, but sometimes he can surely give you a headache.

Today, my grandfather was going on about how books were the only source of knowledge for them.

As I tend to stick to my cell phone a lot, he was admonishing me for misusing it.

But who will make him understand that information nowadays is at the tip of our finger? With one tip we can go through various things in our cell phone.

He wanted to spend some quality time with me, but like always I was more interested in fiddling my cell phone.

He went away to his room disappointed.

And now I am feeling sorry for him.

I am now realising that what my grandfather wanted was some grandfather-grandson time.

But I deprived him of that.

Maybe technology is increasing the gap between generations and it is heartbreaking to know that our grandparents long for company.

They want love and time from their family which we have failed to give them due to our mechanical approach to life.

I have learnt a lesson today and I’ll definitely try to spend more time with my family.
