You are a grand mother.you decided to learn kannada language and made efforts to accomplish your desire to read .write a diary entry in 80 to 100 words recording what made you to take this decision.

Today I have decided to learn kannada language. I had been thinking about learning it for a long time now but it never seemed so important to me like it is now. When I was very young my mother died and my father had got married to another woman and he never gave attention to me  . When I got married I had a family to look after and I found pleasure in looking after them and during all these years I started to read a story with the help of my grand daughter , the story was published weekly . I felt happy listening to the story but what I didn't like was my inability to read ,to soak into the magic of words. 
A few days ago my grand daughter had to go to attend a marriage in a village far away. This week when the magazine arrived with the episode of the story in it all I could did was regret that I never learnt to read.
That very moment I decided to learn kannada language.
