I, a member of NSS witnessed a Flood Hit Area, on 8 August, 2019 in Kerala due to heavy rainfall and disbalance in the mansoon season that created a massive tragic for livelihood and hit Economy as well.
When I visited several flood areas, saw destruction around me and most of the people (who suffered from flood) were in search for a roof to hide themselves. The food supply also was in low quantity and few people not got any meal.
The Flood destroyed many lives as well as many homes whereas leaders from various parts of the country started Politics on it. The Kerala Government appealed the Union Government to provide some kinds of reliefs for the people.
Thousands of people were evacuated to safe places and provided them rapid relief. I hope this report will help to spread aware through The Toofan Express newspaper.
