Mr Nelson Mandela is the “first black president of South Africa”. Mandela addressed that the time to heal his wounds has come. He also mentioned about his “27 years of his life” in prison. He explained about gruesome life in the Robben Island prison for the first 18 years.

Later he moved to “Pollsmoor Prison”. In 1993, Mandela was awarded Noble prize for peace. Majority of people had chosen Mandela as the head of African National Congress Party in the elections making him the “President of South Africa”.
