Through this letter, I would like to draw your kind attention to the miserable garbage disposal system in our locality.
The pile of garbage is increasing day by day, attracting flies and stray animals. Dustbins have not yet been installed, inspite of repeated complaints to the authority. Sweepers are irregular in their duties.
Diseases have become a frequent problem in our neighbourhood. Passers-by have to bear with the awful smell given out by the heaping garbage. Residents are deeply distressed with this worsening problem.
I, therefore, request you to look into the matter without delay and take necessary steps to curb the growing problem.
