The use of plastic is not Eco-friendly. Things made of plastics are not biodegradable. Plastics may be light-weight, low cost n waterproof but it is an ecological n waste management nightmare. It takes only 2-3 weeks for a ban a peek to breakdown in the soul but at least 100-1000 years for a plastic material to do so. It causes not only waste management problems but also a threatening to environment. It is also reported that every year plastic material kills 100,000 whales, see turtles, n other marine animals often by choking them. Plastic n it's relatives are not eco-friendly n their use must be reduced, if not banned.
Instead the use of environmentally-friendly products should be encouraged in the process of responsible environmental management. Prior to 2002, I'm Bangladesh plastic bags were used very much but later on it was banned by the govt. when govt. came to know that the floods had been worsened because plastic bags are a threat not only for environment but also to the survival of living beings. So it's use should be reduced. Together we should stand n say no to the plastica and use eco-friendly materials.
Explanation:They are bad, destructive, non-biodegradable and well, just not cool! Plastic bags are to the environment what a frenemy is to you. It may look quite useful, but with time it will only harm you and make bad things happen to you, they are vindictive. Plastic bags, because of their non-biodegradable nature, have already cost us a lot – water logging during the rains, bad crops because of plastic in the soil, harms aquatic life if thrown in water and also reduces the production of coal and petroleum because it doesn’t break down.
It is bad because it is not a natural product, it is bad because it is non-biodegradable, it is bad because even when it becomes waste, it does not break down under high pressure and heat unlike the other waste materials. It cannot be destroyed, it can only be recycled and used for longer. And using plastic for a really long time is unhealthy as it attracts bacteria and can make people sick.
