Dear......
Hope this letter finds in your usual cheerful spirits! As you already know I am in a remote village to participate in the adult literacy mission. Adult education is extremely important for our country that is endeavouring to achieve the goal of 100% literacy. India is a fast developing country with the ambition of becoming a fully developed country as soon as possible. This ambition can only be fulfilled in the condition of 100 % literacy. India is a densely populated country. A majority of people live in villages where education is not given much importance.
So we along with our teachers and district education officer visited many remote villages. We taught the adults basics of English, Hindi, Math, and Sciences. We appealed to the villagers to send their children, especially the girls to the schools. We as a team enrolled 250 girls in the village schools. It was a unique experience working outside the classroom in a real-life situation. This has given me new confidence. The rest is fine. Give regards to uncle and auntie.
Yours affectionately,
