GURUKUL SCHOOL CELEBRATES VAN MAHOTSAVA

Our School celebrated Van Mahotsava week from July 1st, 2019 to July 7th, 2019. Trees are the oxygen giver of the environment, thus to celebrate it's kindness to our society, Van Mahotsava is celebrated across India from 1st July to 7th July every year.
Our school also participate in this Mahotsava every year since it's foundations. This year Van Mahotsava was commenced by our 8th Graders, who presented a skit on the importance of planting trees. Then trees were planted by head girl and boy, vice head girl and boy, Principal, Vice Principal, and other dignitaries. Seeds of Basil, Neem, Sunflower, and other plants were sown. The festival was then proceeded by Poster making by students on 'Green Delhi, Clean Delhi'.
