Children are looked upon by Indians as gifts of God but a large number of them are forced to do manual labour .

The root cause of child labour is poverty.

There are millions of child workers in our country. The unskilled child labours mature into an incomplete labour force which is detrimental to the future of the country. The need of the hour is to impart vocational and technical education from the primary stage of education itself.
