The unexpected rains that came with thunderstorm left the residents of most of the districts in Lucknow looking for safety. The rains and winds lashed and even uprooted trees, and left some homes destroyed too. Those in the low lying areas had to vacate their homes and go to drier and higher grounds for safety.
The rescue NDRF team arrived in time to help facilitate the easy transportation of these victims to the designated safe sites/ relief camps for the time being. there are also volunteers working to help these teams work faster while there are also volunteers who help in providing food and clothes to these affected people. There are also numerous donations done to help them ease their pain. Anyone willing to help is always welcomed to do so. The teams are still working on getting everyone to safety, and with the unceasing rains still pouring, there is little hope for this to stop. It is up to all of us to see what can be done to help the affected people lead their normal lives, even away from the warmth of their won homes.
