Subject: Nuisance caused by new tenants

Dear Sir:

I write to you to express my deep concern and anguish caused tenants staying at B-37, Pritampura. They have shifted to our colony recently. Our colony has lost its peace and tranquility since their arrival. Every night they disturb the neighbours with their loud music and reveling. Quite often they fight with the neighbours when they are asked to keep the noise level within reasonable limits. The residents feel insecure and uncomfortable with their presence. They have turned deaf ear to the pleadings. The final examinations are going on. Their rowdiness is causing a lot of disturbance to them. I on behalf of the residents of the colony appeal to you to give due space to our grievances in the columns of your esteemed daily. I appeal to the concerned authorities to look into it and take some action to rid us of the inconvenience and sense of insecurity we have been feeling.

Thanking you,

Yours truly,

Gibran

Subject: Unsafe atmosphere in the locality

Dear Sir

I am a resident of Pitampura and recently in our locality shifted a new tenant just a stone through my house. Ever since they have moved in, there is no end to the quarrelsome behavior of the members of that family.

There are often prolonged fights between the husband and the wife and we can hear screaming and shouting of children amidst the abusive words of the parents. Sometimes the abuses are too much to bear. Initially, we reported the matter to the police, but in vain as the couple made it clear to the police officials that it was their personal matter and there was no point of complaint. The peace of mind and safety of other residents is at stake in such situations.

Through this letter I want to reach out to the reader and have them thinking about what such behavior by adults reflects and how they are polluting the society. I hope parents can responsibly rear their children without resorting to abuses and violence.

Thank you

Yours sincerely
Anita
