You are Amit/Amita. You took part in a medical camp organised by the Health Club of your school in a remote village near Delhi. You are surprised to find that most of the people there have no awareness of basic health and hygiene. As a concerned citizen, you decide to take up the cause and organise camps there to spread awareness amongst the villagers about the importance of hygiene.
Taking ideas from the given notes, write a letter to the Editor of a newspaper in about 80-100 words expressing your concern and encouraging youngsters to take part in such campaigns.

Respected Sir,
I am writing this letter to inform you that I have recently visited a medical camp in a remote village Delhi organized by the health club of our school. I was shocked to just look at the surrounding of the camp. It was dumped with garbage and flies and mosquitoes roaming around. There was a lack of basic hygiene in the village and thus, they met with many diseases.
The people over there did not know that they had to tie a bandage or just a cloth around their finger if they had a cut. Also, a person lost his life due to the venom of the snake. If the villagers would have tied the tourniquet at the right time, a life would have been saved. I realised that they did not have any knowledge or awareness about basic hygiene and health. Thus, I would like to stand up and take up an initiative.
'The basic health and hygiene' campaign is to educate the remote villagers about the importance of keeping their surroundings clean to prevent breeding of mosquitoes and spread of malaria, dengue, etc. Also, this initiative would also set up hospitals that would encourage and rise up the quality of health among the villagers. It would be great if youth will take up their stand and support this initiative. Youth are someone, who have knowledge about health and hygiene. Thus, the basic health and hygiene would be grateful to see youth approaching us.
