Need to save environment
Environment includes all the natural resources including air, water, plants, animals, living beings, rivers, seas, oceans, forests. A healthy environment contains the equilibrium which is maintained by the food chain of all the organisms. If there is a disturbance created in this cycle, natural disasters occur resulting in the destruction of the mankind.
Many of us visit hill stations to spend some time close to the nature. But not everyone knows how to utilize it to the fullest. Due to the heavy population in such areas and unawareness with respect to plastic usage, the hill stations are getting polluted with waste materials that cannot be biodegradable. I sincerely recommend to use display boards on safety measures and non-usage of plastic. This will improve the area to be free from damage.

Environmental degradation is not a hidden fact any longer. The environmental degradation in cities, towns, and villages have been affected irrevocably. People are also paying a heavy price for the change. Toxic air to breathe, contaminated water to drink, and chemically adulterated food stuffs have taken a heavy toll. The only places left of this contamination are the hill stations.
In the scorching heat of summer people from cities rush to these sylvan spots of pure beauty. Places such as Kausoli, Manali, Dalhousie, Mussoorie, Shimla, Nainital, become overcrowded. Though the Governments of Himachal Pradesh and Utrakhand have taken stringent measures to maintain nature and ecology, yet these tourists litter these places with their activities. Vehicular pollution is quite high during summer season at these hill stations. The Government should allow access to these hill stations in planned and systematic manner through registration. A particular amount should be charged from tourists; and the funds collected should be spent to maintain the beauty of these hill stations.
The Government further needs to make strict laws to conserve these beautiful hill stations. The people should also take care of the environment and not harm it in any manner.
