Animal Lovers Club
Mahatma Gandhi Animal Care Home was established in the year 2005 and has been acclaimed and commended by many for its welfare for animals. We the members of the Animal Lovers Club has just recently visited the shelter and was truly touched and happy to witness how much care and love they gave to the animals there.
There were many animals being taken care with great responsibility but one thing that intrigued us the most was the number of injured dogs and cats being cared and looked after by the workers there. Every injured animals were tended with care and there were enough well-equipped medical rooms for all of them.
There was also a residential veterinary surgeon which was available all the time. Emergency cases of sick and injured animals were given immediate care and medication without delay because of the availability of the surgeon. Apart from these facilities, the animal home is very environment friendly with green surroundings. It was truly an amazing experience and I urge everyone to at least visit there once or donate any amount you can to feed and save those animals.
