Sir,
I would like to draw your kind attention towards the problem of stray dogs in our colony. A large number of stray dogs keep roaming on the streets and roads of Rohtas Nagar area all hours of the day. Many a time, it causes jams and accidents as well. It causes great inconvenience for the people of our area and especially the kids who are unable to come out of their homes or play in the colony park due to the fear of these dogs.
Their owners too let them loose on the roads without caring for the inconvenience that they cause to the people. Besides this, it gives a very ugly look to the whole area. The entire place remains littered with the excrement of these animals. All these stray animals should be impounded and sent to the municipal pen. They should be returned to the owners only in return for a heavy penalty. Such requests have been made time and again to the yet no significant action has been taken so far. I hope you will understand our problem and take all the necessary steps to solve this problem of stray dogs.
