subject: concerns regarding sewage problem
Dear Sir,
through the esteemed columns of a newspaper I would like to draw your attention towards the sewage problem in my locality .
We must understand that the world today is preoccupied with the problem of pollution control. In spite of a number of Acts, Legislations, Constitutional amendments and Pollution Central Board our country has failed to check this threat.Sewage is an important source of pollution in urban centers. Liquid waste comes from residential areas, institutions, hotels, hospitals etc. it is discharged into nearby water bodies or disposed in open low-lying areas. The community waste carries putrid organic matter. It gives rise to bad odor and various pathogenic germs. This also leads to pollution of underground water.
Due to the sewage problem we face unhygienic conditions in our colony. People are not able to move around because of the stinking smell. Moreover, the garbage and polythene wastes are left as such. These issues need immediate attention which requires appropriate steps taken by concerned authorities.
in order to overcome the pollution enraged environment the environment minister and concerned authorities should take action and find a solution to it.
