Throught the prestigios column of your esteemed newspaper,I would like to draw the attention of the authority towards the ill effects melted out on the stray dog.
It is very regretful to see poor stray dogs wandering about on the street with injured legs,eyes,faces etc... Stray dogs are seen being bullied by the idle boys as they throw stones, injuring them. also rash drivingof some drivers lead them to lose their legs. They are bet with sticks and people drive them away by violence ways.
So I would request you to look into this matter and publish my thoughts on the newspaper.

Respected Sir,
Through the columns of your esteemed daily, I would like to draw the attention of the general public to the ill-treatment meted out to stray dogs at the hands of human beings.
It is a common sight these days. Men, women, and children kick, hit, or throw stones at stray dogs who are resting harmlessly on the side of the street. A lot of dogs also get injured or killed due to getting hit by a vehicle. Such behavior goes unpunished which isn't fair at all. The cases are increasing daily as families abandon their pet dogs and the dogs have to stay on the roads. The cases can are reduced by building a few animal shelters and taking care of the dogs there. Municipal authorities and NGOs also should help in taking care of these strays.
I will be obliged if you can take personal internet in the matter. I hope adequate measures will be taken soon to protect the stray dogs.
