Dear Father:
I hope this letter finds you in sound health and vibrant spirits. You will be glad to know that I have won first position in inter-school Dance Competition in the city last week. I had decided to present a Classical Dance performance. My dance teacher made me practice 3 hours every day. During the practice sessions, she explained me the fine moves that would fetch me more marks. At home also I danced in front of the mirror. I watched many dance performances on Youtube.
Finally, the day of the competition arrived. I performed with all my heart, mind and soul. The best part was the judges liked my expression and presentation. At the end I was given a thundering applause. I was so happy when my name was announced for the first position. At school also I received so much of praise and appreciation from the principal. When are you coming to pick up me from hostel? Convey my regards to mom and sister also.
