Dear diary
Today we visited the Jim Corbett National Park. The Covid-19 SOPs were observed. We had to keep our masks on throughout the visit, and were instructed to sanitise our hands every now and then. People were allowed inside only in groups of 3-4. However, these instructions did not dampen our mood at all. In fact, the sounds of the wilderness gave me tremendous peace, and the greenery around seemed to greet me in a reassuring sort of way. It is amazing how being close to nature can calm the mind and rejuvenate the soul.
I am already waiting for the next trip to an idyllic (peaceful, charming, happy sort of) place!
