I had plans to go to Shreya’s house despite the forecast of heavy rains and storms. I reached her place around 11 am and felt so happy to see her after a long time. We had plans to do painting, knitting, drawing, bangle making, cooking, baking, etc. While we were baking a cake in the late afternoon, the clouds started to thunder and roar. We were a little scared but we continued cooking and enjoying ourselves. After an hour or so, it started raining cats and dogs. I called my dad and asked him to pick me. My dad reached after a frightful journey. He said that he saw crocodiles in the city yard. I was very anxious to see the crocodiles, yet scared. As soon as we reached home, I saw two crocodiles in the nearby yard from my balcony. The entire streets were flooded with water and stranded cars floating in it. I saw in the news that those crocodiles had reached the city through main pipes that had burst. Overall, I and my parents drank hot chocolate and felt blessed to reach home safely.

Along with my two friends, I visited my friends village for two days what a never dreamt experience!

three of us to our common friends village- Rampur- an interior village in Mehsana District. This was the time after monsoon and watching lush Green Fields was a real treat to our eyes while driving along. we reached there imagining that we would find kachcha ways, Bullock carts and row houses, but the things altogether different. it was no more a village of old times, it was rather modern with all facilities. well built roads, street lights, drainage system, a school, a library, a public Health Centre and what not!

well, but we had a real feel of village when we visited his farm. so eye-soothening spectacle! waving crops in the fields seemed as if they were dancing with utter Joy .at the farm house of my friend ,we ate 'ponk'. we had lip-smacking lunch of rotla and sabji dish of freshly picked vegetables from the sound as it was chilling cold we sat around fire and shared a number of funny incidents. pure oxygen in the air and eco-friendly ambiance all over made a visit never to be forgotten.
