Grandparents are very important people in the lives of their grandchildren and adult children. The relationship between grandparents and their grandchildren is second in emotional importance only to the relationship between parent and child. Having grandparents involved in the lives of children offers tremendous benefits, for both the grandchildren and the grandparents.
Research shows that as many as 9 out of 10 adult grandchildren feel their grandparents influenced their values and behaviors. Grandparents transmit to their grandchildren the values and norms of social order.They're known worldwide as great companions and often shower their grandchildren with special treats and lots of love.Being a grandparent is a big job, but grandparents have a lot of experience. They raised and cared for your parent when he or she was a kid! And grandparents have been the heads of households since the beginning of time. In many cultures, they are considered as a source of immense wisdom.es, only our grandparents can love that way: expecting nothing in return and not demanding from their grandchildren to speak at least three languages or to know read and write at the age of three. Their grandchildren are always and no matter what the most intelligent, beautiful and beloved grandchildren, even if there is not one or two, but several there is always enough room for everyone in their hearts.
Our grandparents forgive us almost everything. They always support us with their fingers crossed and are full of pride when they tell others about our successes or show our pictures. They never forget our birth dates, however much grandchildren they had, and give us sense of security.
