In our ‘you make the difference’ message this year there is also a call to action to others to think about what they can do. How can you make the difference? At NCVO we’re passionate about how through volunteering people can take positive action to make a difference to a cause they care about. I think this is a powerful and important message for times when we may not feel empowered or able to change things for the better. Through volunteering we can make the difference; to individuals and communities every day from improving the environment we live in, spending time with those who may otherwise be lonely and contributing to a range of other essential services and support.
