Answer:

Smoke production during the combustion of the given materials are as follows -

• Napthalene - Napthalene or C10H8 is a carbon rich chemical compound which produces high amount of carbon dioxide gas as smoke when we burn the the napthalene.

Chemical reaction :

C10H8 + 12O2 ---> 10CO2 + 4H2O

• Camphor - Camphor or C10H16O is also a carbon rich chemical compound which produces carbon dioxide when we burn it.

Chemical reaction :

C10H16O + 27/2 O2 ---> 8 H2O + 10 CO2

• Alcohol - Alcohol also produces carbon dioxide because it has significant amount of carbon molecules in it's chemical structure.

Chemical reaction :

C2H5OH + 3O2 ---> 2CO2 + 3H2O
