Dear Rashmi,
Haven’t heard from you for a while. Hope you are doing fine. I am doing fine too. I am writing this letter to share a few things that have been bothering me nowadays.
You know that my school is rated as one of the best schools in the city but lately, I have been facing some discomfort with a few practices at school. I always loved to go to school but as I started understanding myself in-depth, I understand as to why I have been disliking going to school nowadays.
My school follows a rich quality of syllabus. The syllabus includes arts, crafts, music, history, literature and every field that could ever exist on earth. But I understand how we are being discouraged to select subjects like music, arts and sports. We are only being stressed to choose the subjects that are more probable and common to achieve success in our future. But I feel that the choice is to be left to the individuals rather than just avoiding to provide the equipment and classes for such subjects. Sometimes, even fields like music and sports could be a child’s future and her success. I feel that it is very much important to provide all such opportunities. Because school is the time when one has the capability to explore himself or herself.
I have written to my headmistress about my opinion and the very much need to implement the actions to be taken. Please give me more ideas as to how I would be able to change this practice. Will be waiting for your reply.
Love,
Rheema

Hi Kalpana,
Hope you are doing great and missing you every day. I am writing this letter to take your suggestion on how to improve our school environment which is actually distressing me every day. The first thing is that the school has made the extracurricular activities paid ones, which is hard for us to afford. The second thing is that the school has increased the fee to 25% without any notice. This has made us difficult to continue the studies. The third is that the teachers are wrapping up the lessons quickly and it has become challenging for us to keep up with the pace at which teachers are teaching the lessons. These three practices in school are taking away my peace. I need your valuable help and suggestions on this.
