between elders and children nowadays. Both are trying to influence each other
in this war of tradition and modernity, which has created a generation gap
between the two. You feel concerned about it and decide to write a letter

Dear Rahul,
Hello! How are you? I hope you would be fine. I am also doing well here. Recently, I have witnessed several incidents of tug of war between the elders and the younger generation of our time. There is a constant clash of ideologies and thought-process. In this war, both the generations representing tradition and modernity attempt to influence and overpower each other. I feel this generation gap is growing higher day by day and we are in a serious need of bridging this gap. Both generations need to communicate with each other and encourage each other's positive aspects to narrow this gap. The older generation needs to encourage modern thoughts to go hand-in-hand with the younger generation while the younger generation must value and respect the traditions perpetuated by the elders. This will help in escaping this gap and move towards a better and more improved society that offers a balance of the tradition and modernity.
Yours lovingly,
Gaurav
