you are given a circle and line drawn on a paper.salman argues that there can only be 3 possible ways of presenting them.what are they?​

There are three ways of presenting.

Let the mid point of circle be = O

Let the line passing through circle be = PQ

Possibility one - Line PQ and circle do not have a common point. In this case PQ will be a non-intersecting line with respect to circle.

Possibility two - Line PQ intersects the circle at two points A and B, forming a chord on the circle AB that has two common points. In this case PQ is the secant of the circle.

Possibility three - There is just one point A, which is common to PQ and circle. and is called the tangent to the circle.
