Taking the mixture in a glass beaker and carefully heating it at favourable temperatures, the sublimation of more volatile ammonium chloride salt would take place and then as the Ammonium chloride vapours rise a little bit, they will get stuck on the walls of the upper half of the beaker due to cooler temperatures of the walls up.
