• we have to take a filter paper. The particles of the salt and water are soluble in each other. As a result of this they moved through the filter paper but sand and having the particles of larger size gets filtered through the filter paper.

• Now we have to take the mixture of salt and water. We have to heat the water. The water evaporates leaving behind the  salt in the container.
