You are given a sphere of volume 33 cm3. If you are asked to select a best suited spring
balance to determine its weight, then what should be the range of the spring balance ? (The sphere is made of an alloy of density 7 g cm3)

The mass of the sphere is = volume * density
           = 33 cm³ * 7 gm / cm³  = 231 gms

The range of the spring balance should be  1 gram to 250 gm or more,  but with an accuracy of 1 gram.
