you are given an iron strip . how will you make it into a megnet

1. use another magnet and place it on one end of the strip.
2. move it in straight line to the other end of the strip.
3. repeat these steps for about 10 to 15 times and the strip will start working as a magnet.

You can rub a magnet with iron strip for a few times till it starts acting like a magnet. But remember it will only become a temporary one.
