Answer:

WE CAN IDENTIFY BY ;

Potassium (K) - very vigorous reaction   cold water

Potassium is a soft, silver-white metal that reacts violently with water.

Sodium (Na)  - vigorous reaction with cold water

When sodium metal reacts with water, the resulting heat melts the metal almost immediately into a grey-silver ball.

Magnesium (Mg) - slow reaction with cold water, vigorous with hot water

Magnesium generally reacts weakly with water, unless the water is at a high temperature

Beryllium -  does not react with water

Explanation:

1) Beryllium does not react with water.Beryllium (Be) is the only alkaline earth metal that does not react with water or steam, even if metal is heated to red heat. Additionally, beryllium has a resistant outer oxide layer that lowers its reactivity at lower temperatures.

2)When potassium is added to water, the metal melts and floats. It moves around very quickly on the surface of the water. The hydrogen ignites instantly. The metal is also set on fire, with sparks and a lilac flame.

3) Magnesium does not react with water to any significant extent. This is in contrast with calcium.
