The surface of a convex lens is bulged out.
Surface of concave lense is curved inside.
Surface of plane mirror is plane.

samayerasingh: actually im confused by amisha dudi's answer plz tell me that answer is right or wrong
Astitva: Yes. By observing the nature of image can also help identify the lens. But that method requires to set up first. You would need an object to observe its image. Surface observation is easier to judge the lens.
samayerasingh: thanks frnd
Astitva: You're welcome

without touching them we identify them because of the nature of image formed by them, in plane mirror the image is almost same only lateral inversion is there where as in concave mirror, the Image is a little bit compressed and in convex mirror the image us widened. so we can identify the nature of image by this method..
hope it helps you..

samayerasingh: actually im confused by ur ans.. and astitva 's answer
