Equivalent resistance = 1 Ω + 2 Ω + 3 Ω = 6 Ω

Equivalent resistance

1/R = 1/1 + /2 + 1/3 = (6 + 3 + 2)/6 = 11/6

∴ R = (6/11) Ω

Equivalent resistance of first line

= 1 Ω + 2 Ω = 3 Ω

Resistance of the second line = 3 !

Equivalent resistance

1/R = 1/3 + 1/3 = 2/3

∴ R = 3/2 = 1.5 Ω
